PORT GIBSON — Willie Taylor died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Claiborne County Senior Care in Port Gibson. He was 82.

Mr. Taylor worked for 40 years with Irby Construction Co. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Port Gibson.

He is survived by his wife, Elouise Taylor of Port Gibson; a daughter; two sons; seven stepchildren; one sister, Sallie Blackmon of Port Gibson; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at McCay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
