The Vicksburg City Pool is conducting enrollment for swim lessons. All lessons are $12. Mommy and me lessons are for children ages 6 months to 4 years. Levels I through VI are for ages 5 to 18. Atlanta Braves tryout camp

The Atlanta Braves will host their annual tryout camp at Trustmark Park in Pearl on June 29. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the camp starts at 10. Activities will be under the direction of scout Don Thomas and are free of charge.

Clear Creek Ladies weekly golf report

On June 8, the Clear Creek Ladies Golf Association played a two-person blind partner scramble. The team of Linda McHann and Pam Thomas finished first, followed by Theresa Ford and Kay Slocum. Sherry Aultman and Emily Bonelli claimed third place. Slocum also made two chip-ins.

Jerious Norwood football camp

Atlanta Falcons running back and former Mississippi State star Jerious Norwood will host his annual free youth football camp June 24 at Brandon High School. The camp is open to boys ages 9-17. Registration begins at 8:30, and the camp will end around 1 p.m. All campers are required to have a signed parental release form before participating in any activities. Vicksburg Eagles youth football

The Vicksburg Eagles Youth football team is currently accepting applications for players and cheerleaders ages 6-12 and coaches for the 2011 season until June 30.
