Children younger than 10 in Mississippi may eat for free at Shoney’s locations in the state, company officials have said.

The Nashville-based eatery is offering the meals in Mississippi because of recent flooding and tornadoes that have ravaged the state.

With the purchase of one regularly priced adult entree or buffet, up to two children will eat free. The promotion is available for any meal.

Shoney’s in Vicksburg is at 3316 Pemberton Square Blvd.
