Roy Joe Elmore Sr. died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Promise Specialty in Vicksburg. He was 76.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Virginia E. Finney officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.

Mr. Elmore retired from Anderson-Tully Co. after 25 years. He had farming interests all of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Elmore and Ima Elmore.

Survivors include his wife, Katheryn Elmore; two daughters, Virginia E. Finney and Kathy Wykoff; a son, Roy Joe Elmore Jr.; and a sister, Juanita Cross, all of Vicksburg; grandchildren Benjaman David Elmore, Brandon Joseph Elmore, Bradley Joshua Elmore, Brooke Dowe Towery, Michael Finney Jr. and Johnathan Finney.

Pallbearers will be Roy J. Elmore Jr., Benjaman Elmore, Brandon Elmore, Johnathon Finney, Bradley Elmore and Michael Finney.
