A boat rests feet above the water line on top of a vacant home on LeTourneau Road owned by James Lynn, said his granddaughter, Nikki Steele. She said her uncle Paul Lynn used a crane to move belongings before floodwaters reached the home and put the boat there as a joke. “We knew how serious it was, but we’ve been through so many floods, we were trying to keep a sense of humor about it.” (Katie Carter)
