James L. Thompson Jr. died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Promise Hospital of Vicksburg. He was 60.

Mr. Thompson worked at Central Asphalt Co. and County Market.

Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
