County woman held for check forgery

An Eagle Lake woman was in the Warren County Jail this morning after being arrested for forgery, jail records showed.

Rees Tyler, 25, 225 Sea Island Drive, surrendered to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. for forging checks totaling more than $500 in May, Deputy Todd Dykes said.

Tyler was being held without bond.
