A performance and exhibit of artwork by students of Spectrum, a five-week arts program, will be at 5:30 tonight at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center, 1302 Adams St.
Free and open to the public, the event is a culmination of the course that started May 31 and ended Friday.
Students will perform a dramatic play and a musical number. An exhibit of artwork, photography and writing completed by students during the program will be displayed throughout the center.
Spectrum, open to children ages 10 to 16, was funded through a one-time $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and focused on photography, writing, art, music and drama.
