New clinic

Fountain Construction employees Neal McQueen, in the bull dozer, and Jessie Dennis work on the foundation of a new MEA Medical Clinic being built on East Clay Street across from the Army Corps of Engineers. Fountain Construction owner Brad Fountain said his company would do the foundation as well as building the clinic and expects to be completed by October. MEA Medical Clinics are after hours physician clinics where patients can go without an appointment. The clinic was first opened in 1979 in Pearl and currently have twelve locations in the state, Vicksburg’s clinic will be the thirteenth. (David Jackson/The Vicksburg Post)
