Last week, the Andrew Jackson Council held its annual Cub Scout Day Camp at the Knights of Columbus.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the KC’s for providing the perfect place for 59 young scouts to learn and have fun. I would also like to thank all the parents, volunteers and leaders who helped make it a success.

Thank you also to Cody Goss and Dr. Fred Tracy for helping with Diversity Awareness and to the Poverty Point employees for the arrowhead sessions.

This was my last year as director of the camp, and I must say it was one of the best. I appreciate all the hard work everyone did, and I had just as much fun as the boys.

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.
