Jessie Lester Hall Jr. died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 45.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, he had been living for the past 24 years in Vicksburg and had worked at the Auto One Stop Oil Change. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse Woodrow and Agnes Hall; his maternal grandfather, R.B. Johnson; and a brother, Trampus Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Marie L. Hall of Vicksburg; two daughters, Jessica Hall and Mary Hall, both of Vicksburg; his father, Jessie L. Hall Sr. of Jackson, La.; his mother, Loretta Markey of Clinton, La.; three brothers, Keith Markey of Denham Springs, La., and Richard Hall and Timothy Hall, both of Jackson, La.; and his maternal grandmother, Verlie Johnson of Clinton, La.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. D.W. Tipton officiating. Burial, directed by Glenwood Funeral Home, will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Billy Leach, Bobby Leach Jr., Gerald Leach, David Anglin, Ryan Jeandron and Clarence “Shorty” Faulkner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Hall and Eddie Hoover.
