An 18-wheeler hauling logs sits by the side of U.S. Highway 61 North it hit a 2002 silver Nissan Altima at the intersection of Highway 61 North and Oak Ridge Road Monday afternoon. According to State Trooper Jason Ginn, the driver of the logging truck Donald Collins, 54, of 4122 El Paso Street in Jackson ran the stop light at the intersection, t-boning a 2002 Nissan Altima driven by Lea Ashley, 18, of 98 Ashley Street in Vicksburg.
