Services for the Rev. Quincy Cornelius Jones will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Vicksburg City Auditorium with Bishop Carolyn Tyler Guidry officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Jones died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at his home. He was 32.

The Rev. Jones was the pastor of Bethel A.M.E. Church and was a teacher at Grove Street School. He was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and Delta State University.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Oliver Meeks and Mary Jones Mitchell; and maternal grandparents, Leonard and Henrietta Simmons.

Survivors include his wife, Monica B. Jones of Vicksburg; his parents, Clarence and Annie Mae Jones of Vicksburg; his brothers, Christopher Jones of Vicksburg and Clarence H. Jones of Hartford, Conn.; and a sister, D’Andra Price of Vicksburg; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and others
