Donald Matthew Hazzlerigg died on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011. He was 57.

Mr. Hazzlerigg was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, where he owned and operated Hill City Radiator. He graduated from St. Aloysius High School.

Donald was loved by many in the community. He had a passion for the outdoors and was respected by all for his character.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter “W.C.” Hazzlerigg and Rita Palmer Hazzlerigg, and his brother, Walter Hazzlerigg.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Templeton Hazzlerigg of Vicksburg; a son, Mark Russell of Tupelo; a daughter, Michelle Hopson of Memphis; a sister, Caroline Commins of Vicksburg; a brother-in-law, Randy Templeton (Linda) of Mishawaka, Ind.; a grandson, Haze Russell; and two granddaughters, Hyde Hopson and Hannah Hopson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Templeton officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Andy Templeton, Mark Steen, Haze Allen Russell, Mark Russell, John Lindigrin, Pat Ring, Charlie Ring and David Wright.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Steen, Brian Ratcliff, Don Taylor, David Hazzlerigg and Timmy Hazzlerigg.
