Alexis Patterson slugged a three-run homer, and Krista Cortezie had a triple and a solo home run to power Warren Central past Greenville-Weston, 16-0, on Thursday.

Lawren Boolos also drove in three runs for WC off a single and a double, while Lexie Burleigh, Karleigh Hinson and Megan Marberry had two hits each.

The Lady Vikes (3-1) earned some momentum going into Saturday’s Lucy Young Invitational. The four-team round robin tournament at WC’s Lucy Young Field will feature WC, Vicksburg, Yazoo City and Germantown. Play begins at 9 a.m., when WC faces Vicksburg.
