A Vicksburg man was arrested by police this morning and charged with two counts of sale of cocaine, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.
James Davis, 31, 1404 Elm St., was arrested at 6:30 at his home on a warrant following an undercover investigation, said Williams.
Davis was being held at the police station and was to have an initial hearing today in Vicksburg Municipal Court.
In a separate drug case, Warren County deputies charged a Vicksburg man with possession of a controlled substance at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, jail records showed.
James Gray, 20, 4813 Nailor Road, Lot 24, was being held without bond pending an initial hearing in court.
He was arrested at the Vicksburg Warren County branch of Hinds Community College after campus officials called deputies. Morphine sulfate tablets were found in his backpack, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
