PORT GIBSON — Romona Hamilton died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at her residence in Port Gibson. She was 26.

Ms. Hamilton was preceded in death by a sister, Rejonna Hamilton.

Survivors include three sons, Jamyron Dorsey, Ja-marrious Hamilton and Clydarrious Johnson, all of Port Gibson; one daughter, Lameisha Johnson of Port Gibson; her mother and stepfather, Deborah and Cornelius Thornton of Port Gibson; her father and stepmother, David and Barbara Mays; three sisters, Roshanda Frye of Fayette, Romekia Hamilton of Port Gibson and Nachelle Johnson of Dallas, Texas; seven brothers, Derrick Hamilton and Larry Mays, both of Port Gibson, Gerrick Barber and Trawan Barber, both of Greenville, Durell Hamilton of Hattiesburg and Lorenzo Gusta and David Gusta, both of California; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ashland M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Richard Cruel officiating. Burial will follow at Engleside Cemetery No. 2. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
