James Anthony Cranfield

PORT GIBSON — James Anthony Cranfield died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 37.
A native of Jefferson County, he moved to Claiborne County at an early age. He was a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and worked at Dell Computers in Oklahoma City before returning to Claiborne County. He was a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by a son, Steve Anthony Cranfield of Port Gibson; his parents, George and Faye Cranfield of Port Gibson; one sister, Vecie Cain of Port Gibson; a stepsister, Anna Marie Aswell of Monterey, La.; a brother, Stephen Cranfield of Port Gibson; and three stepbrothers, Nolan Bass of Roxie, Dallas Bass of Sicily Island, La., and Tommy Bass of Fayette.
A private memorial service will be at a later date under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
