The second annual Gospel Music Reunion featuring a mix of contemporary music and traditional gospel will be next Saturday at the Kings Empowerment Center.

The event, set to kick off at 5 p.m., is sponsored by Vicksburg’s Jimmy Cotton and the four-member The Gospel Visionairs.

“We had about 200 people come last year,” he said. “Hopefully, we get a bigger crowd this year.”

Admission to the event featuring mostly local acts is free, but donations will be accepted.

The theme of this year’s concert at the center on R. L. Chase Circle off North Washington Street is Bringing Back Past Memories.
