TALLULAH — Shelley Mae Price died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at River Region Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was 69.

Mrs. Price was born in Vicksburg and had lived in Tallulah for many years. She was a homemaker and a housewife. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and Acacia Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thelbert Louis Price.

Survivors include her husband, Sherman B. Price of Tallulah; one son, David Allen Price of Tallulah; one sister, Dee Farris of Vicksburg; one brother, Charles Ray Curtis of Vicksburg; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Clifton Wheat officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Immediately after the graveside service, the family will have a visitation at Parkview Baptist Church.
