Kathleen Branton Carrico died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 65.

Mrs. Carrico was a member of Bowmar Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowery Powell Brandon and Chellie Juanita Dyess Branton of Columbia.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Paul B. Carrico of Vicksburg; one daughter, Kimerly Saxon of Vicksburg; one son, Bobby Darrell Saxon of Vicksburg; a granddaughter, Whitney Clare Clardy and husband Michael of Starkville; sister, Ouida Branton McDaniel and brother-in-law John Dennis McDaniel Sr. of Columbia; brother, Kenneth Branton of Plano, Texas; a stepdaughter, Selenia C. Morgan and husband Roger and grandchildren, Keaton Carrico and Kyler Morgan, all of Brandon; a stepson, Keith Carrico and wife April and grandchildren, Zakk Butler, Noah Carrico and Brynner Carrico, all of Petal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia with graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Vicksburg-Warren Humane Society or to Paws Rescue.
