Luella Brown died Thursday, Oct., 13, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 94.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, O.Z. Brown; her parents, Evan Smith and Malissa Smith Dorsey; three sisters, Nellie B. Smith, Virginia Butler and Willie B. Cartwright; and two brothers, Henry Shields and Evan Smith.

Survivors include three sons, Percy Brown, J.D. Brown and Jim Brown, all of Vicksburg; three daughters, Ora Clemons of St. Charles, Ill., Earnestine Adelean Calvin of Manteca, Calif., and Velma Wince of Clinton; numerous grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Irvin Cosey officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
