Services for Jo Ann Barnes will be at noon Friday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Sylvester officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barnes died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 63.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Barnes Jr.; an infant son, Darrell Montgomery; a daughter, Sharon Montgomery; her parents, Johnny and D’Ella Andrews; and one sister, Theresa Andrews.

Survivors include one son, Albert Barnes III of Vicksburg; seven daughters, Barbara Barnes Hicks of Port Gibson and Angela Montgomery, Brenda Montgomery, Linda Montgomery, LaShawn Montgomery, Charlotte Barnes and Jennifer Barnes, all of Vicksburg; a brother, Johnny Andrews Jr. of Vicksburg; three sisters, Barbara Andrews, Shirley Dorsey and Delores Powell, all of Vicksburg; 24 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Alyce Shields, Linda Barnes Wright and Linda Mayfield of Vicksburg.
