Services for Annie Bell White will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bingham Memorial M.B. Church with the Rev. James Archer officiating. Burial will follow at Rohelia Cemetery in Cayuga. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 5 until 6.
Mrs. White died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 87.
Mrs. White was born in Cayuga to Beatrice Eatmon Holden and Peter Stewart Sr. She attended Rohelia M.B. Church in Utica.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert White Sr.; her stepfather, Henry Holden; four sisters, Lucy Holden Bingham, Lorraine Stewart Smith, Jo Ann Holden and Katie Stewart Neal; four brothers, Leonard Stewart, Frank Stewart, James Stewart and John Willis Holden Sr.; two stepsons, Robert White Jr. and Melvin C. Tyler; and five grandchildren, Tilisha White, LaShaundra White, Kirk Craig, Robert Craig and Debra White.
Survivors include 10 daughters, Cherry Ann White Chatman, Dorothy Ann White Miles, Leona Mae Craig, Carrie Lee Stewart, Patricia Bell White, Johnie Ruth White, Linda White Johnson and Gladys Marie White Sanders, all of Vicksburg, Lillie Stewart of San Diego and Ernestine Marie “Tina” Dillard of Des Plaines, Ill.; two brothers, Willie Holden of Muskegon Heights, Mich., and Peter Stewart Jr. of Utica; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Angela Hicks, Leonard Rush of Killeen, Texas, Percy Washington of Vicksburg and members of the Allen, Bingham, Burks, Carson, Caldwell, Eaton, Hills and Neal families.
