JACKSON — Laura B. Moody died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at her home in Jackson. She was 78.

Mrs. Moody was a native of Bovina and was a member of North Liberty Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Moody; two daughters, Debra Abernathy and Charlie M. Harris; and her parents, Humphrey and Ruby Moody.

Survivors include four daughters, Glynis Ramey, Kim Guillory, Ruby Harris and Edna Grant; four sons, Michael B.A. Moody, Michael A. Moody, James S. Moody and Harry Moody Jr.; four sisters, Lula Burks, Mary B. Sutton, Nettie Doss and Ruth Byrdsong; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison. Burial will follow at the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until the service.
