Vicksburg falls in double overtime to Murrah

JACKSON — Vicksburg used up a season’s worth of good fortune on its game-tying drive in the last three minutes Friday night.

Unfortunately, Murrah seems to have an unlimited supply these days.

Fred Franklin put the Mustangs ahead with a 3-yard touchdown run in the second overtime, then Sebastian Sanders intercepted a pass in the end zone on Vicksburg’s possession to seal a thrilling 35-28 victory.
