UTICA — Annie Lee Davis Beecham died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 89.

Mrs. Beecham was retired from Hinds County Agricultural High School as a bakery/dessert specialist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Beecham; and five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Charles Beecham of Sacramento, Calif.; three daughters, Mary B. Willis of Tampa, Fla., Mabel Beecham-Lewis of Jackson and Ella B. Green of Utica; two sisters, Johnny Ray Currie of Utica and Marie Davis of Cambria Heights, N.Y.; and a brother, Clarence Carter of Chicago; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including Brenda Bell of Raymond.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Institute Baptist Church in Utica. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home in Jackson and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
