MAYERSVILLE — Leanna Merrill died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was 88.

Survivors include two sons, Henry Jones of Dallas and Jerome Jones of Mayersville; four daughters, Mary F. Barnum of Rolling Fork, Gracie M. Green of Mayersville, Emma Hall of Dallas and Delores Thomas of Chicago; two sisters, Elnora Norris of Mayersville and Margaret Ross of Vicksburg; 15 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater New Bethel M.B. Church in Mayersville with the Rev. O.H. Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
