NEWPORT, Ark. — Mrs. Tommie (Bennett) Walker, 87, lifelong resident of Newport, Ark., departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Lambiotte and husband Larry of Vicksburg and Linda Harris of Vicksburg; one brother, Billy Bennett of Fayetteville, Ark.; four grandchildren, Louis Lambiotte Jr., Brian Lambiotte, Courtney Lauren Harris and Stephen Harris and wife Peggy; and four great-grandchildren, Walker, Sadler, Luella and Lanier Lambiotte.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Newport with interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the service time.
