Evelyn Marie Erwin Roach died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at River Region Medical Center She was 65.

Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Jr. and Mary Lou Nevels; her first husband, James Donald Erwin; a brother, Perry Nevels; a sister, Gracie Dill; and a son, William Theodore Ford.

Survivors include her spouse, Daniel Morris Roach; children, Gail Ford, Evelyn Erwin Collins of Vicksburg, Donna Erwin Reese of Birchtree, Mo.; her siblings, Billy Nevels of Yazoo City, Joann Parker, Diana Simmons, Ruthy Christian and Richard Nevels, all of Vicksburg, Annie Allison of Florence, Virgina Carr of Redwood, and Suzie Mariche of Oak Grove, La.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hampton, Brandon and Kayla Street and Ryan and Bradley Collins; four great-grandchildren, James Michael Nowell, Hailey, Christal Leigh and Allissa Hampton; stepchildren, Robert Morris Roach and Lori Williams, both of Vicksburg, and Christopher Brandon Roach of Cobbart, Ark.

Mrs. Roach was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church with Carroll Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Union Church, Miss.
