HERMANVILLE — Cordellia Gary died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Promise Specialty Hospital in Vicksburg. She was 70.

Mrs. Gary was a member and mother at First Baptist Church of Hermanville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gary, and a son, Marvin Lemon.

Survivors include a son, Vernon Lemon of Hermanville; four daughters, Vernester Watts and Brenda Gary, both of Hermanville, Linda Gary of Port Gibson and Nellie Gary of Atlanta; a brother, Luscious Manner of Chicago; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Hermanville with the Rev. Johnnie Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Hermanville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home, and Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
