A Vicksburg man faces two counts of sale of crack cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after his arrest Friday by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Tyrone Lamont Ross, 38, 110 Lee Circle, was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail pending an initial appearance Monday, Pace said. The arrest was the result of a two-month investigation into drug activity in the area around Ross’ home. During the investigation deputies made two undercover purchases of crack from Ross, Pace said.
He said deputies arrested Ross at Porters Chapel and Halls Ferry roads, about 1/4-mile from his home. He said a search warrant executed on Ross’ home uncovered a small amount of crack, a small amount of marijuana and a .22-caliber revolver.
