Services for Dorothy Nell Owens will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with George T. Straughter, bishop, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Owens died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 52.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie George Owens and Sarah P. Owens; a sister, Bobbie Jean Upshire; and nieces, Georgia Marie Owens and Kachandra Chanell Owens.

Survivors include her daughters, Crystal Monique Owens of Vicksburg, Tameka LaShawn Butler of Baton Rouge and Sandra Ratcliff of Dayton, Ohio; her sisters, Sandra Barnes and Lena DeFrance, both of Vicksburg; her brothers, Willie Lee Barber and David Porter, both of Vicksburg, George Owens Jr. of Carrollton, Texas, and Jimmie Lee Owens of Minneapolis; one grandson; and uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
