PORT GIBSON — Andre Vershaun Chambers died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Lincoln Residential Home in Brookhaven. He was 27.

Mr. Chambers was a member of Rose Hill Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, O’Neal Chambers Sr.; and an uncle, O’Neal Chambers Jr.

Survivors include his parents, the Rev. Roosevelt and Felecia Harried of Port Gibson; his maternal grandmother, Victoria Chambers of Port Gibson; a brother, Marcus Roberts of Sanford, Fla.; two sisters, Amanda Hedrick and Olevia Hedrick, both of Port Gibson; two aunts and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Christian Church in Lorman with Elder Water Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be today from 1 until 5 at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
