MEMPHIS — Brenda Lynn Howard died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was 50.

Mrs. Howard was a native of Vicksburg and a graduate of Vicksburg High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darryl Howard; and her father, Roosevelt Goodman.

Survivors include her mother, Virgie Sanders of Memphis; two sons, Frederick Sanders and T.J. Gaines Jr., both of Memphis; a sister, Gertrude Sanders Graves of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.

Services, arranged by Jefferson Mortuary, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Wealthy Place in Memphis.
