Michael Andre Williams of Indianapolis and Kristi Rose Lalak of Vicksburg were married at 4 p.m. Oct. 12, 2011, in East Point, Ga. Judge Glen E. Ashman officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Keena Lalak of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Rosemary Crawford and Ed Crawford of Vicksburg and Marjorie Lalak and the late Joseph Lalak of Atmore, Ala.

She attended Warren Central High School. She is a waitress at Goldie’s Trail BBQ and is owner and designer of Rock-A-Bow Designs.

The groom is the son of James E. Williams and Ruth A. Williams of Indianapolis. He is the grandson of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Gardner of Indianapolis.

He attended John Marshall High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society and football team. He received an associate’s degree from Vincennes University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University. He is a self-employed chef and human resources manager.
