Three men were arrested Tuesday while trying to sell for scrap a cast-iron kettle reported stolen from a south Vicksburg front yard, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Clifton Walker, 28, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road, Apt. 10A; Clifton Davis, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road, Apt. 13A; and Eddie Good, 1208 Magnolia St., Port Gibson, were picked up at 12:17 p.m. at Vicksburg Recycling, 4766 N. Washington St., Stewart said.

The kettle had been reported missing a short time earlier from a home in the 4000 block of U.S. 61 South, he said.
