More than 2,000 first-through third-graders from Vicksburg Warren School District will hear a live orchestra Monday as part of the 13th annual Day at the Symphony.

Maestro Crafton Beck, musical director and conductor of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, will perform the program Bach to the Future for the students. The program will focus on the works of composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

The event, sponsored by the Four Seasons of the Arts, which also will offer a musical program planned for the public Monday night, will include an education program during the day for elementary students.
