BUCKATUNNA — A private service for Mary Lee Gaines Lee will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lee died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at her home. She was 66.

Mrs. Lee was born in Vicksburg and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Cardell Lee; her father, Charlie Gaines; two brothers, Charlie Gaines Jr. and Willie Lee Gaines; and a sister, Charlene Gaines.

Survivors include her mother, Estella Mae Brown of Vicksburg; three daughters, Angela Lee Franks of Buckatunna, Jackie Smith of Jackson and Donna Carnell Lee of Waynesboro; a son, Sammy Brooks of Vicksburg; sisters, Flora Lee Parker and Robbie Louise Woods, both of Vicksburg, Rosie Mae White of Bronx, N.Y., Essie D. Bolden of Stone Mountain, Ga., Lillie Mae Johnson of Denver, and Evelyn Gaines of Chicago; two brothers, Sun Gaines and Johnny Gaines, both of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
