Two wrecks in the city Tuesday tied up traffic but left no injuries.
In the first, reported at 8:33 a.m., Brady James, 27, 233 Demby Drive, was westbound on Jeff Davis Road when he missed a curve and flipped his 1992 Jeep Cherokee into a ditch.
Neither James nor his passenger, Angela James, 47, of the same address, his mother, was injured.
The vehicle lost fuel into a drainage ditch but cleanup did not block the road for long.
In the second wreck, reported at 2:31 p.m., one car was rear-ended by another in the 3000 block of Halls Ferry Road.
The drivers and their three passengers were not injured.
Traffic was backed up for about 25 minutes while the wreck was cleared.
The drivers were identified as Desiree Calderon, 33, no address available, and Debra Bufkin, 49, no address available.
Bufkin’s passenger was Tristen Watson, 13; and Calderon’s passengers were Jaimie Calderon, 14, and Ariah Calderon, 18 months.
