Shoops couple to be honored for 70 years

J.W. “Jake” and Renza Shoops will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Tuesday. They were married Feb. 21, 1942, in Cleveland, Miss.
They will be honored by their children, Rick Shoops and Pam Barnes, grandchildren, Larry Shoops, Renza Anthony, Wesley Barnes, A.J. Barnes and Matthew Barnes, and six great-grandchildren with a family dinner.
