Services for Fernando Lionel Hill will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating, assisted by the Rev. Brian Crawford. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday with family present from 5 until 6.

Mr. Hill died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 30.

He was employed with the Holmes Trucking Company and was a member of King Solomon M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Oscar Thomas McGriggs.

He is survived by his wife, Natasha L. Hill of Vicksburg; a son, Jamarkus D. Combs of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Latasha Douglas of Vicksburg; his mother, Joyce Hill of Vicksburg; his grandmother, Earline Shorter of Vicksburg; four sisters, La-kisha Hill of San Diego, Calif., Tamika Hill of Savannah, Ga., and Crystal Hill and Sakita Shelton, both of Vicksburg; three brothers, Robert Hill, Jimmy Hill and Martez Shelton, all of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including members of the Hill, Shorter, McGriggs and Miller families.
