Paul Lamar Sibley

BENTONIA — Paul Lamar Sibley died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was 86.

Mr. Sibley was the owner of Sibley Office Equipment. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Sibley and Mary Daisy Matthews.

Survivors include his wife, Mernitte Sibley of Bentonia; three sons, Dwight L. Sibley of Vicksburg, Daniel P. Sibley of Orangeburg, S.C., and Calvin R. Sibley of Bentonia; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church with the Revs. Skipper Maxwell and John Paul Sibley officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Sibley, Aaron Sibley, Robb Herring, Caleb Sibley, John Martin and Michael Sibley.
