Ada Chambers-Fells

LORMAN — Ada Chambers-Fells died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Patient’s Choice in Port Gibson. She was 90.
Mrs. Chambers-Fells was born in Jefferson County. She was a housewife and a member of Fellowship M.B. Church, where she was an usher and served on the auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Caroline Whitney Chambers; and her husband, Wilford Fells.
Survivors include two sons, Wilford Fells and Dale Fells, both of Lorman; three daughters, Velma Chambliss of Kansas City, Mo., Sadie Fells of Chicago and Emily Robinson of Lorman; a granddaughter whom she adopted, Kisia Coleman of Richton Park, Ill.; 30 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship M.B. Church with the Rev. Kemp Burley Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 7 tonight at Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
