Miss Nations to wed Mr. Rowland

The engagement of Maggie Marie Nations to Wesley Ray Rowland, both of Clinton, is announced today. The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m. May 19, 2012, at The Duff Green Mansion. A reception will follow.
Miss Nations is the daughter of Linda Blackwood of Pensacola, Fla., and Jerry Glenn Nations of St. Croix, Virgin Islands. She is the granddaughter of Carol Marie Justice and the late Rex Glenn Nations of Brookhaven and the late Raymond Earl Vernon and Maggie Miller Vernon of Jackson.
Mr. Rowland is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ray “Bubba” Rowland Jr. He is the grandson of Patricia H. Barker and the late Harold F. Barker and Mr. and Mrs. James Ray “Buddy” Rowland Sr., all of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Raymond High School. She is attending Hinds Community College.
Miss Nations is employed at Main Street Market café.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Warren Central High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 2009 from the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Rowland is employed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Reachback Operations Center at the Engineer Research and Development Center.
