R.V. Grey

R.V. Grey of Redwood died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 88.

Born in Holly Bluff, Mr. Grey was a resident of Vicksburg for the past 33 years. He was owner and operator of R.V. Grey Mobile Homes since 1972.

Mr. Grey served in the U.S. Army and is a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennitt and Etha Lowery Grey.

He is survived by his wife, Fairy Lowry Grey of Redwood; two sons, Wayne Dolan Grey of New Berry, Fla., and Rexton Van Grey of Redwood; two daughters, Vickie Peltz and Dixie Anne Redditt of Vicksburg; two brothers, George Grey of Vicksburg and Billy Ray Grey of Pearl; and eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Peltz, Randy Holder, Garrett Grey, Justin Grey, Stephanie Paxton, Rachel Redditt, Rexton Grey and Ryan Grey.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Vicksburg. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Grey, Rexton Grey, Randy Holder, Garrett Grey, Ryan Grey and Jeffrey Peltz.
