Erica Rochelle Smith and Eddie James Owens, both of Vicksburg, will be married at 3 p.m. March 10, 2012, at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Smith is the daughter of Mary C. Smith of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Eugene and Fannie Carson of Vicksburg.

Mr. Owens is the son of Eddie Knight of Vicksburg and the late Bobby Jean Owens. He is the grandson of the late George Owens and the late Sarah Denise Owens and the late Eddie and Mattie Knight, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Just Say No and the History Club. She attended Hinds Community College.

Miss Smith is a hair stylist at Fred’s Barber Shop.

The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He attended Hinds Community College.

Mr. Owens is self-employed.
