Vicksburg National Military Park historian Terry Winschel speaks to a group of licensed Gettysburg battlefield guides and their families from Pennsylvania Monday. The group arrived in town Saturday evening and spent Sunday and Monday touring Grant’s Canal, Port Gibson, Grand Gulf, Pemberton’s Headquarters and the Vicksburg National Military Park. They came to Vicksburg to learn about the other side of the war.
