Warren Central’s Lady Vikes Invitational is coming home.

The tournament, which was supposed to be played at Bazinsky Park for the first time, has been moved back to WC’s Lucy Young Field. Soggy fields caused by Thursday’s heavy rain prompted the return to WC, and also forced a shift in the schedule.

The eight teams will each play two games in a round-robin format, instead of three games as was originally scheduled. Each game will have a one-hour time limit.

The tournament starts with Vicksburg vs. St. Aloysius at 9 a.m. Warren Central (1-5) and St. Andrew’s will follow at 10:15. Other participating teams are Cathedral, Greenville-St. Joseph, Terry and Natchez.
