Major and Billie Perry of Edwards announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Nicole of Longview, Texas, to Trey Howard Ettinger, also of Longview. Mr. Ettinger is the son of Mark and Sheila Ettinger of Vicksburg.

Miss Perry is the granddaughter of Charles and Lorraine Harrison of Edwards; the late Jerry Carlisle; and the late William and Eilene Smith.

Mr. Ettinger is the grandson of Howard and Betty Ettinger and Pat Sanders and the late Bobby Sanders, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Porters Chapel Academy, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the band, Key Club and Drama Club.

She received an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in physical therapy assistance from Pearl River Community College.

Miss Perry is a physical therapist assistant at Synergy Care Inc.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was in the band and played football.

He is a welder for LeTourneau Technologies.

Vows will be exchanged at 3:30 p.m. April 14, 2012, at The Baer House of Vicksburg. A reception will follow.
